What is URL Encoder?
URL encoding replaces characters that have special meaning in URLs (such as &, =, ?, and spaces) with % followed by their UTF-8 byte values. DevKitly uses encodeURIComponent, which is the right choice for a single parameter value.

Frequently asked questions
Should I encode a full URL?
Usually not. Encode individual parameter values, then join them. Encoding a whole URL also escapes the :// and / characters that make it a URL.
Is URL Encoder free to use?
Yes. URL Encoder is free and does not require an account.
Does my input leave the browser?
No. This tool performs its processing locally in your browser and does not need to upload your input.
